     Borax Lake is a nice lake to visit. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining things in the Klamath Mountains. During your journey to Borax Lake you'll meet some folks from Clearlake for sure; enjoy a round of golf at Buckingham Country Club. Don't leave Borax Lake without first going for a hike along the Cadd Fire Trail, and there are some fine whitewater spots on Big Sulphur Creek. Borax Lake is a good spot of typical rainfall; through January this area  
   sees the most rain while July is typically the driest month.
This lake is so wonderful. Do schedule some time to go to Gooseneck Point in close proximity to Borax Lake if you have a chance, and great hiking is available along the Bucknell Trail. Chamisa Gap is a glorious spot to explore, and M and M Camp Ground is a good local campground. Whohoo, so much amusing stuff in one place! Borax Lake is great! Schindler Creek is close to Borax Lake and is always
 
               a diversion to stop at, and Pinkeye Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at.
This lake is so wonderful. If you want to hit the beach, Indian Beach is in the vicinity, and if you need a place to stay Travelodge is a great choice. There's delightful hiking along the Middle Creek Flat Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Lake Escape Resort. All the outdoors fun things next to Borax Lake will keep you coming back time and again. Do explore Thurston Lake right next door to Borax Lake, it's a charming lake.
Borax Lake is a beautiful lake in the Klamath Mountains. So many amusing things in the Klamath Mountains, just amazing. Island Park is a good campground nearby, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Cache Creek. Throughout the warm days of summer, highs generally are in the 90's at Borax Lake. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 50's, and nighttime lows in the 30's for Borax Lake.
