Do stop by Bonnie Lake while you're in this part of California. High temperatures at Bonnie Lake through the summer are in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Bonnie Lake drop into the 20's. Bonnie Lake is pretty dried up usually; January is when you get the most rain here; July on the other hand is the driest. This lake
is so wonderful. Cascade Creek is a wonderful spot to check out.
This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, West Walker River offers some great whitewater, and why not camp at Sonora Bridge Campground if you're here at Bonnie Lake. Good hiking is available along the Silver King Trail; there are some pleasant whitewater spots on Tuolumne River. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff right next door to Bonnie Lake. A good place

close to Bonnie Lake is Dorothy Lake Pass; Cascade Falls is an inspiring spot to visit while here.
Just can't get enough of the Central Sierra Nevada. There are great spots to look at along the Early Emigrant and Indian Trail, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Dodge Ridge since you're here. And that's not all there is to do here in the Central Sierra Nevada. At Bonnie Lake you can observe Forsyth Peak, and a glorious place to camp here at Bonnie Lake is Leavitt Meadows Campground. The Central Sierra Nevada scenery is always beautiful.
Don't leave Bonnie Lake without first going for a hike along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 12, and not far from Bonnie Lake you'll stumble on Cinko Lake which is a lovely lake.
