Golden Eagle Motel is a brilliant place to get some rest, and if you get bored of Bonita Lake you could also explore close by Panhandle Lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Southern Cascade Range. So many enjoyable things to do here in the Southern Cascade Range, too good to be true. Bonita Lake is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Indian Well Campground is a perfect local campground, and Bonita Lake       lays in the shadow of the Panhandle Hills. A fine place to camp here at Bonita Lake is Eagle's Nest RV Park. Around Bonita Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily December, that's the one that snows the most while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Lava Beds National Monument is a very great site to have a look at close to Bonita Lake; the top of Bonita Butte                  is easily made out from Bonita Lake. High temperatures at Bonita Lake during the long summer days are in the 80's; all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.
