It's always fun to stop by Bon Tempe Lake. All the outdoors cool stuff in the Coast Ranges will keep you coming back again and again. An afternoon playing golf at San Geronimo Golf Course is always a delight; if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Lagunitas Fire Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Bon Tempe Lake is a great location to visit for more than one day, Laurel Dell Campground is a great location to camp nearby. So much enjoyable stuff

| | to do at Bon Tempe Lake, so little time. Don't miss out on a perfect swamp; Hidden Lake is right here at Bon Tempe Lake; if you get bored of Bon Tempe Lake you could also stop at nearby Lake Lagunitas.

Bon Tempe Lake it's a fine idea to take a look at Azalea Flat. But wait, there's more enjoyable stuff to do in the Coast Ranges. Bon Tempe Lake is not the only location close by, Lily Lake is a close by lake, and a pleasant nearby
hotel is Mill Valley Inn.
You'll need more than a day to look at everything Bon Tempe Lake has to offer, you can camp at Marin Park, and stopping by Muir Woods National Monument is just something you need to do if you haven't
yet. This lake is so wonderful. A tour to nearby Pine Point is very relaxing, and don't forget to take a tremendous little tour to Bon Tempe Creek. Just can't get enough of Bon Tempe Lake. Blake Canyon is near Bon Tempe Lake and is
a tremendous spot, and while here here do go to nearby Stinson Beach.
The high level of rainfall makes Bon Tempe Lake a quite wet spot; most of the rain falls throughout January, and July meanwhile is the driest month. Not enough
hours in a day to enjoy the Coast Ranges. Broko Spring is an inspiring place to stop at while here; on a good day you can take a hike along the North Side Trail. Four Points By Sheraton San Rafael is a nice location to get some rest,
and if you're hooked on cool geologic highlights try Dutchmans Rock.
High temperatures at Bon Tempe Lake during the months of summer are in the 80's. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 40's. Highs during the winter are generally
in the 50's, and overnight lows through the wintertime for Bon Tempe Lake tend to be in the 30's. This lake is located in the wonderful Coast Ranges.

| I was just diagnosed with Lyme Disease from a hike around Phoenix Lake. It happened February 8, 2009. It's a beautiful hike but just take precautions!...Yeah... my buddy got lyme disease here when we were kids. Too many ticks everywhere....Phoenix lake is a great place to visit if you're in the area. It's beautiful. Very secluded....Any lyme disease ever reported from the ticks at phoenix lake?... |

I have had the displeasure of staying at a campsite called Coloma Resort on the South Fork of the American River. If you're not a church group or over 65 this place is not for you. We were harassed by the management constantly and were told to go to bed at 10:00pm on a Saturday night. Nothing in their rules said laughing and the Beatles were not allowed. This is the type of place that will tell you what you want to hear just to get your money. The campsite was extremely crowded even the 3rd week of August. My advice is to go else where, anywhere else but here!... |
