This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. The slopes of Northstar at Tahoe are so inviting noone can resist, and a lake close by is Dry Lake. What would winter be without some skiing at Squaw Valley, and you can have a glorious hiking adventure along the Mount Rose Trail. So much enjoyable stuff to do here in the Northern Sierra Nevada, too glorious to be true. Camping       at Alpine Meadow Campground is always a wonderful experience; if you need a spot to stay Northstar-At-Tahoe is a perfect choice. Man, is there plenty of exciting things to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Hiking along the Mount Rose Trail is tremendous fun, and Boca Reservoir is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Annie McCloud Campground is a delightful local campground. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Truckee River for all you                  adrenaline people, and the top of Boca Hill is easily distinguished from Boca Reservoir. That right there is plenty already, but it continues; Boca Reservoir has it all. You can run the rapids of Truckee River right next door to Boca Reservoir, and swing by Dry Creek it's a glorious place to go to. At Boca Reservoir through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's. Summer night lows dip down to the 30's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's; night lows in the 0's for Boca Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Boca Reservoir you can take a hike along the Granite Chief Trail; Prosser Creek Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could have a look at. The Northern Sierra Nevada scenery is always beautiful. At Boca Dam in close proximity to Boca Reservoir there are some out of the ordinary things to see It's always brilliant to have a look at Mills Spring. Don’t forget to go to Juniper Flat since you're here at Boca Reservoir; while you're here why not pop by East Boca Canyon. This lake is so wonderful. Boca Reservoir gets very little rainfall; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most snow, and July is the month with the least moisture. All year is a fine time in the Northern Sierra Nevada if you go for the outdoors.
