Why not stop by Blue Slides Lake if you're passing through these parts. Good hiking is available along the Milk Ranch Trail, and Blue Slides Lake is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Mill Valley Campground is a nice local campground. You can run the rapids of Stony Creek close to Blue Slides Lake, and a wonderful lake like Timber Lake is a good place to visit. That right there is plenty of entertaining stuff already but it goes on, the Klamath Mountains has it

| | all. Eel River is a delightful whitewater spot in the neighborhood of Blue Slides Lake, and don't leave Blue Slides Lake without first paying a visit to Fir Root Spring. The Klamath Mountains scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Robinson Rancheria Resort Casino is a tremendous spot to spend a night or two. Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Bear Creek Campground is a brilliant location for that; at Blue Slides Lake you always meet someone from Clearlake. Blue Slides Lake mostly gets a lot of rain; January is the wettest month
with most rain, and July is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. There's magnificent hiking along the Bucknell Trail, and Catfish Pond is a delightful lake close by. At Blue Slides Lake throughout the
summer months highs are in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 50's while Blue Slides Lake overnight low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 30's.
