This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Indian Scotty Campground since you're here at Blue Pond, and Scott River is a pleasant whitewater spot close by. Be careful coming to Blue Pond, you might not ever want to return back home again. If you're here, you might as well visit Hull Gulch; if you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Salmon       River. For the period of the summertime months here at Blue Pond, high temperatures commonly get into the 90's while nighttime lows are generally in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are mostly in the 40's while Blue Pond night low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 30's. Blue Pond is a rather wet place usually with a good deal of rain; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain while July is the month with the                  least amount of precipitation. Oro Fino Pond is a nearby lake that you could go to, and a magnificent sight of lovely Quartz Hill is available. Why not stop by nearby Emigrant Creek while you're here at Blue Pond; why not take a refreshing hike along the Deacon Lee Trail. If you get bored of Blue Pond, you could also pop by nearby Marlahan Pond; the Tanners Peak Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful.
