These mountains rock, just look at all the exciting stuff to do in the Coast Ranges. If you came for an overnight stay Narrows Lodge Resort is a fine site to camp, and you could always look at Fall Canyon. Through the warm months highs here at Blue Lakes get into the 90's. During the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 50's with temperatures at Blue Lakes       dipping down into the 30's through winter nights. This lake is one of the great places here in the Coast Ranges. Just can't get enough of Blue Lakes. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Middle Creek Flat Trail, and do explore Lower Blue Lake, it's a delightful lake. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Blue Lakes; Elk Knob Trail is a splendid local trail, and Black Oak Springs is an inspiring place to go to while you're here. This lake is so wonderful.                  Take a hike on the Bucknell Trail. Blue Lakes frequently gets a good deal of rain; the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain, and July is when it's the driest. You definitely ought to have a thing about the Coast Ranges. After a long day outdoors Tallman Hotel is a wonderful location to spend a night or two, and the top of Little Cow Mountain is easily made out from Blue Lakes. Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - Upper Lake; if you come at the right time of year, Russian River - East Fork offers some glorious whitewater. This lake is so wonderful.
