This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Tallman Hotel; the beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Black Oak Springs. Blue Lakes is a beautiful lake in the Coast Ranges. All the outdoors exciting stuff in the Coast Ranges will keep you coming back persistently. If the weather is tremendous here at Blue Lakes, you can go for a hike along the Middle Creek Flat Trail; get yourself into a kayak and hit       Russian River - East Fork. The Bucknell Trail is a great hiking trail near Blue Lakes, and while you're here, you might as well visit Fall Canyon. Yeah, come up here to the Coast Ranges for a splendid time. Going for a hike along the Elk Knob Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and if the weather is delightful, you obtain a wonderful sight of Little Cow Mountain from Blue Lakes. Blue Lakes sees pretty high levels of precipitation;                  January is the month that gets the most rain, and July is when it's the driest. Summertime highs at Blue Lakes ordinarily tend to be in the 90's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 50's, and overnight lows in the 30's for Blue Lakes. There are some good whitewater spots on Eel River, and Pine Acres Blue Lake Resort is a magnificent local campground. So much amusing stuff right next door to Blue Lakes, truly mind-boggling. Lakes are great; Hidden Lake is a lake that's next to Blue Lakes, and Lakeview Haven Rv Park is a splendid campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful.
