During the summertime at Blue Lake temperatures are frequently in the 80's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Highs during the winter are usually in the 40's with temperatures at Blue Lake dipping down into the 10's through winter       nights. Yeah, come up here to the Northern Sierra Nevada for a nice time. There's magnificent hiking along the Claremont Trail, and camping is available at Sundew Campground. Blue Lake is close to Bear Ravine which is positively worth visiting, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Feather River - North Fork. The annual rainfall here at Blue Lake is about average; January is when you get the most snow here, and July on the other hand is the driest. But wait,                  there's more to do in the neighborhood of Blue Lake. Go for a hike on the Yellow Creek Trail, and the summit of Bald Eagle Mountain can be made out from Blue Lake. Take a side journey to Right Hand Salt Rock, and after a long day outdoors Bailey Creek Cottages is a nice place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. You could also stop by Mud Lake if you're here at Blue Lake; it's nearby. Blue Lake is a beautiful lake in the Northern Sierra Nevada. This lake is so wonderful.
