Around Blue Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation; the month with most of the snow is January, and October meanwhile is the driest month. Yosemite Gateway Motel is a pleasant spot to get some rest. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Blue Lake has to offer, you can camp at Sawmill Campground. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Blue Lake you can take a hike along the       Pacific Crest Trail - section 12, and Blue Lake is a great location to camp, Saddlebag Campground is a great location. Man, is there a heap of exciting stuff to do in the neighborhood of Blue Lake. On a splendid day at Blue Lake you can take a hike along the John Muir Trail - section 2. For the period of the summertime, highs usually are in the 80's at Blue Lake. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 30's. During the winter highs                  are in the 40's with temperatures at Blue Lake dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. You'll beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable things in the Central Sierra Nevada. Going for a hike along the Gaylor Lakes Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity; a perfect close by hotel is Best Western Ruby Inn.
