You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting things at Blue Lake. Good hiking is available along the Poison Flat Trail, and Parsnip Springs is a good local attraction. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Warner Mountains. So many enjoyable things to do in the Warner Mountains, not enough time. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Blue Lake; Emerson Creek Trail is a pleasant local trail, and Little       Meadows Campground is a delightful local campground. This lake is so wonderful. You'll hit upon a beautiful lake called Clear Lake near Blue Lake, and why not camp at Blue Lake Campground while you're here at Blue Lake. During the summer months at Blue Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's, and the overnight is fairly cooler of course, ordinarily in the 40's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 40's, and after the sun is down throughout                  the wintertime temperatures at Blue Lake sink into the 10's. There's great hiking along the East Creek Trail; if you need a place to stay Best Western Trailside Inn is a pleasant choice. Blue Lake is located in the Warner Mountains. Blue Lake is frequently a pretty dry place; November is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is July.
