If you want a good time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Central Sierra Nevada. On a wonderful day you acquire a view of Mount Izaak Walton from Blue Jay Lakes; do take a hike on the Mammoth Rock Trail. This lake is one of the great places here in the Central Sierra Nevada. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Mono Creek is so much fun, and you'll stumble on a striking lake called Bighorn Lake. Everybody       nearby loves skiing at June Mountain, and there's some flowing water close by, Mills Creek is a stream you can take a look at while here. It is very dried out here at Blue Jay Lakes commonly; January is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is June. These mountains rock, just explore all the fun things to do in the Central Sierra Nevada. Mammoth Mountain is a pleasant local ski area, and get dripping wet paddling on San Joaquin                  River - South Fork. This lake is so wonderful. First Recess is in the vicinity of Blue Jay Lakes and is a perfect site; Blue Jay Lakes is right by the Sherwin Lakes Trail. Summer at Blue Jay Lakes arrives with high temperatures in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 40's with temperatures at Blue Jay Lakes dipping down into the 20's during winter nights.
