What a site this is for outdoors people. If you want a good time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Central Sierra Nevada. On a wonderful day you acquire a view of Mount Izaak Walton from Blue Jay Lakes; do take a hike on the Mammoth Rock Trail. This lake is one of the great places here in the Central Sierra Nevada. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Mono Creek is so much fun, and you'll stumble on a striking lake called Bighorn Lake. Everybody

River - South Fork. This lake is so wonderful. First Recess is in the vicinity of Blue Jay Lakes and is a perfect site; Blue Jay Lakes is right by the Sherwin Lakes Trail. If you need a spot to stay Mammoth Creek Inn is a great choice;
dry warm beds await you at Rodeway Inn Sierra Nevada. A scenic lake like Mott Lake next to Blue Jay Lakes is a wonderful place to explore, and why not camp at Upper McGee Creek Campground if you're here at Blue Jay Lakes. Summer
at Blue Jay Lakes arrives with high temperatures in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 40's with temperatures at Blue Jay Lakes dipping down
