This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Days Inn Bishop is a good choice. This location, the Central Sierra Nevada, has so much outdoors amusing stuff. Near Blue Heaven Lake you stumble       on good sites like Lamarck Col; while you're here, you could go to Darwin Creek. At Blue Heaven Lake all through the days of summer highs are in the 90's with night lows in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime highs are usually in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Blue Heaven Lake are in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful.
