This is no place for people who don’t like to have a good time. A splendid close by hotel is Harvest Inn-St Helena, Napa Valley, and there's whitewater on Silver Creek - South Fork for all you adrenaline kick people. Yep, outdoors exciting things truly is plentiful here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. There are some good whitewater spots on American River - South Fork, and if you need a spot to stay       Pine Cone Acre Motel is a magnificent choice. At Bloodsucker Lake through the warm days of summer highs are in the 70's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 40's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 40's, and overnight lows at Bloodsucker Lake all through the wintertime ordinarily dip into the 10's. A day on the slopes of Homewood is just what you need, and Bloodsucker Lake is a great place to visit for more than one                  day, Thirty-nine Mile Campground is a great place to camp nearby. If you want a pleasant time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Northern Sierra Nevada. There's nice hiking along the Windmiller Trail, and you'll come across a lovely lake called Secret Lake. Bloodsucker Lake is a good location of typical rainfall; most of the snow falls through January, and the driest of the months is July. This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Bloodsucker Lake; Red Peak Trail is a tremendous local trail; the snow is glorious at Sierra at Tahoe. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Bloodsucker Lake, you could also take a look at beautiful Grouse Lake; you can stay the night at Pyramid Campground.
