What a nice lake Blanc Lake is. This lake is located in the wonderful Central Sierra Nevada. On a lovely day you get a view of Pilot Knob from Blanc Lake, and a tremendous place for whitewater paddling is San Joaquin River - South Fork. At Blanc Lake all through the long summer days highs are in the 70's while overnight lows are typically in the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's while Blanc Lake night low temperatures through the wintertime are

And if that's not enough there's a heap more exciting stuff to do in the Central Sierra Nevada. Kings River - Middle Fork is a fine whitewater spot right next door to Blanc Lake; nearby you discover the John Muir Trail - Pacific Crest Section which is a wonderful hiking trail. Blanc Lake is pretty dehydrated commonly; most of the rain falls during January; the driest month is June. This lake is so wonderful.

Central Sierra Nevada. Bishop-Days Inn is a delightful place to get some rest, and lakes are such serene places, why not stop at Alsace Lake. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting stuff at Blanc Lake. The Kings
River Trail is a tremendous hiking trail near Blanc Lake; Blanc Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, North Lake Campground is a great local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby Carol Col is a good place to go
if you're at Blanc Lake, and if you haven’t been to Devils Postpile National Monument, you must schedule some time for it while you're here.
Camping at Mosquito Flat Campground is always a brilliant experience, and Humphreys Basin is right here at Blanc Lake.
