High temperatures at Blanc Lake during the months of summer are in the 70's while overnight lows are ordinarily in the 40's. During the winter highs are in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 20's for Blanc Lake. Blanc Lake is usually a relatively dried out site; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most rain while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This       lake is so wonderful. If you're here, you might as well visit Carol Col; Mosquito Flat Campground is a wonderful local campground. All year is a delightful time in the Central Sierra Nevada if you love the outdoors. Pilot Knob is trouble-free to spot from Blanc Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Bishop. Now, you may assume that's heaps but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Blanc Lake. Blanc Lake is right by the John Muir Trail - Pacific                  Crest Section; get yourself into a kayak and hit Kings River - Middle Fork. Devils Postpile National Monument is a very tremendous site to go to right next door to Blanc Lake, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Kings River Trail. If you get bored of Blanc Lake, you could also pop by nearby Roget Lake, and soar down the rapids of San Joaquin River - South Fork in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful. A splendid place like Humphreys Basin here at Blanc Lake is too great to miss. So many entertaining things to do here in the Central Sierra Nevada, too glorious to be true.
