If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Central Sierra Nevada. Mount Hutton is stunning and can be distinguished from Blackrock Lake, and unsurprisingly, all our national parks are delightful locations to have a look at and Devils Postpile National Monument is no exception. This lake is one of the great places here in the Central Sierra Nevada. Summertime       at Blackrock Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's; the night is a tad colder of course, usually in the 40's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 40's with temperatures at Blackrock Lake dipping down into the 20's throughout winter nights. Stay the night at Lower Blayney Campground; don't leave Blackrock Lake without first paying a visit to Cold Springs. Blackrock Lake gets a common amount of rain; during the month of January you get the most rain                  around here, and July meanwhile is the driest month. This place is so good, just check out all the fun things to do near Blackrock Lake. There's so much to do here at Blackrock Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Voyager Rock Campground is a delightful location for that, and if you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on San Joaquin River - South Fork. This lake is so wonderful. This is a tremendous neighborhood for people who like lakes. Arctic Lake is a lake nearby; Kings River - Middle Fork has a wonderful whitewater paddling spot close by. Places like Red Mountain Basin are splendid to stop at, and a great site close by is Bench Valley.
