Black Rock Reservoir is a nice lake to visit. Yep, outdoors amusing things truly is plentiful here in the Central Sierra Nevada. A spree to Black Rock Reservoir wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Wiesman Spring, and a day on the slopes of Sierra Summit is just what you need. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is great on Kings River - North Fork, and obviously Black Rock Creek flows through this vicinity. If you want a great time in

| | the great outdoors just come on up to the Central Sierra Nevada. Camping at Black Rock Reservoir is good fun, Sawmill Flat Campground is a good local campground, and a good close by hotel is The River Inn & Cabins.
High temperatures at Black Rock Reservoir during the summer months are in the 70's, and the overnight is quite cooler of course, regularly in the 40's. During the winter the highs are frequently in the 40's with temperatures at Black Rock Reservoir | |

dipping down into the 20's during winter nights. The Central Sierra Nevada scenery is always beautiful. Hiking along the Bobs Flat Trail is nice fun, and Kings River has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby.

stuff to do are really bountiful here at Black Rock Reservoir. Take a hike on the Red Mountain Trail, and don't leave Black Rock Reservoir without first checking out Black Rock. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight
stay Black Rock Campground is a splendid spot to camp, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Deep Creek Trail.
The amount of rain that falls at Black Rock Reservoir is close to the national average; during January this area sees the most rain while July is mostly the driest month.
