    If you are in Fresno county it's always a good idea to stop by Black Bear Lake. Not much precipitation falls here at Black Bear Lake; during January this area sees the most rain, and June is when it's the driest. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing things close to Black Bear Lake. A perfect site for whitewater paddling close to Black Bear Lake is Mono Creek; on a delightful day you get a glorious vista of Feather Peak from Black Bear Lake. Life's too  
   short to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff in the Central Sierra Nevada. You can run the rapids of San Joaquin River - South Fork next to Black Bear Lake, and if you're looking for a delightful trip, Devils Postpile National Monument is relatively near.
This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Mammoth Creek Inn, and a nice spot to camp here at Black Bear Lake is Lake Inlet Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Do stop at Bear Paw Lake near Black
 
               Bear Lake, it's a charming lake. Granite Park is right here at Black Bear Lake, and there is a perfect hiking trail nearby called the Mammoth Rock Trail.
On a great day at Black Bear Lake you can take a hike along the Sherwin Lakes Trail, and Black Bear Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Mosquito Flat Campground is a tremendous local campground. All year is a perfect time in the Central Sierra Nevada if you fancy the outdoors. The skiing at Mammoth Mountain is nice; Italy Pass is another splendid site to stop by nearby. Black Bear Lake is a beautiful lake in the Central Sierra Nevada.
The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Black Bear Lake while nighttime lows are usually in the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's, and night lows through the wintertime for Black Bear Lake tend to be in the 20's.
