Birchim Lake is a beautiful lake in the Central Sierra Nevada. Really good skiing awaits you at Mammoth Mountain, and Pine Creek Pass is also a glorious place to look at. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun things in the Central Sierra Nevada. Don't miss out on a spree to Devils Postpile National Monument while you're here at Birchim Lake; get yourself into a kayak and hit San Joaquin       River - South Fork. The Sherwin Lakes Trail offers hiking at its best; Mosquito Flat Campground is a great campground here. This lake is so wonderful. There are other sites here than Birchim Lake, for example Bear Lake, and there are some pleasant whitewater spots on Mono Creek. Birchim Lake is pretty dried out regularly; the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain, and June meanwhile is the driest month. There's just no way someone can get                  bored here at Birchim Lake. Birchim Lake is a splendid location to camp, Lake Inlet Campground is a splendid location. Summertime highs at Birchim Lake mostly tend to be in the 70's, and the nighttime is a little cooler of course, ordinarily in the 40's.
