If you haven’t been to Whiskeytown National Recreation Area, you must schedule some time for it since you're here; spots like Bowerman Meadows are wonderful to check out. Man, is there loads of exciting stuff to do in close proximity       to Billy-Be-Damn Lake. If you feel like a little side spree, try Deer Creek Pass, and Echo Lake is a magnificent lake nearby. And if that's not sufficient there's a load more exciting things to do in the Klamath Mountains. Just can't get enough of the Klamath Mountains. Trinity River has a glorious whitewater paddling spot nearby, and here at Billy-Be-Damn Lake you can catch a sight of Gibson Peak. The warmest time of the year at Billy-Be-Damn Lake comes with                  high temperatures in the 80's, and the night is a tad chillier of course, mostly in the 40's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Billy-Be-Damn Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Coffee Creek is so much fun, and Stoney Point Campground is a good local campground.
