     The beauty of Bighorn Lake attracts many people from all around. For the duration of the warm days of summer at Bighorn Lake highs are typically in the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's with temperatures at Bighorn Lake dipping down into the 20's all through winter nights. Looking for a pleasant journey? Devils Postpile National Monument is quite near Bighorn Lake; going for a hike on the Mammoth  
   Rock Trail is always a fine adventure. Yeah, come up here to the Central Sierra Nevada for a pleasant time. A lake close by is Bright Dot Lake, and get drenched paddling on San Joaquin River - South Fork.
Bighorn Lake gets very little rainfall; most of the rain falls all through January while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. A day on the slopes of June Mountain is just what you need. All the outdoors exciting
 
               things in the Central Sierra Nevada will keep you coming back repeatedly. The snow is delightful at Mammoth Mountain, and Bighorn Lake is a wonderful place to camp, Upper McGee Creek Campground is a wonderful place.
Bighorn Lake is located in the Central Sierra Nevada. So many exciting things to do here at Bighorn Lake, too tremendous to be true. There is a magnificent hiking trail near Bighorn Lake called the Sherwin Lakes Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Mammoth Creek Inn. The summit of Red Slate Mountain can be spotted from Bighorn Lake, and after a long day outdoors Mammoth Lakes Travelodge is a tremendous spot to spend a night or two.
This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Mono Creek is so much fun; you can stay the night at Crowley Lake Campland.
