From Bighorn Lake you obtain a glorious vista of Mount Reinstein; do visit Ambition Lake, it's a pretty lake. If you came for an overnight stay Sabrina Campground is a great place to camp, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's       for you then, we recommend Kings River - Middle Fork. Don't leave Bighorn Lake without first going for a hike along the John Muir Trail - Pacific Crest Section; a lovely lake like Ram Lake is a magnificent place to stop by. An average amount of rainfall falls at Bighorn Lake; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily January, that's the one that rains the most; July on the other hand is the driest. Summertime highs at Bighorn Lake ordinarily tend to be in                  the 70's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 40's.
