Bigelow Lake is a nice lake to visit. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff at Bigelow Lake. What would winter be without some skiing at Dodge Ridge, and Bigelow Peak is clearly visible from Bigelow Lake. Bigelow Lake is ordinarily a rather dehydrated spot; January is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month is July. This lake is so wonderful. A charming lake like Black Bear Lake in the vicinity of Bigelow Lake is a delightful

| | site to check out, and Bigelow Lake is a great place to camp, Deadman Campground is a great place.
This lake is so wonderful. And that's not all there is to do here in the Central Sierra Nevada. While you're here at Bigelow Lake it's a pleasant idea to explore Grace Meadow; hiking along the Ten Lakes Trail is nice fun. Snowlake Dam is an exciting thing to check out, and get your heart pumping on the good whitewater of West Walker River.

of the great places here in the Central Sierra Nevada. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Bigelow Lake with night lows in the 50's. Through the winter highs are mostly in the 40's, and nighttime lows throughout
the winter for Bigelow Lake tend to be in the 20's.
Bigelow Lake is right by the Early Emigrant and Indian Trail, and Leavitt Meadows Campground is a perfect campground here.
