After a long day outdoors Best Western Ruby Inn is a wonderful place to spend a night or two, and here at Big Valley Lake you can catch a glimpse of Black Mountain. Big Valley Lake is pretty waterless typically; during January this area sees the most snow, and October is when it's the driest. And that's not all you can do here at Big Valley Lake. There are other spots here than Big Valley Lake,       for example Blue Lake; camping at Saddlebag Campground is always a glorious experience. And that's not all the things to do here in the Central Sierra Nevada. Camping is available at Sawmill Campground, and going for a hike on the Gaylor Lakes Trail is always a brilliant adventure.
