Mt Waterman is a pleasant local ski area, and there's good hiking along the Condor Peak Riding and hiking Trail. It is very dried up here at Big Tujunga Reservoir       regularly; the month with most of the rain is March; the driest of the months is June. Big Tujunga Reservoir is one of the lakes here in the San Gabriel Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Courtyard By Marriott Old Pasadena is a great choice, and golf can be played at Verdugo Hills Golf Course. Man, is there a lot of cool stuff to do in the neighborhood of Big Tujunga Reservoir. Grizzly Flat is a nice place, and Big Tujunga Reservoir                  is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Stoneyvale Campground is a pleasant local campground. This lake is so wonderful. The peak of Hoyt Mountain can be spotted from Big Tujunga Reservoir, and close by Breakneck Canyon is a brilliant location to go. So much amusing stuff in the San Gabriel Mountains, just mind-boggling. Big Tujunga Reservoir is a place with many visitors from Los Angeles-Long Beach-Santa Ana, and there's some flowing water nearby, Clear Creek is a stream you can go to while you're here. The Westin Pasadena is a nice place to get some rest, and the Stone Canyon Trail offers hiking at its best. Summertime brings highs in the 90's to Big Tujunga Reservoir. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 60's.
