At Big Tujunga Reservoir during the days of summer highs are in the 90's while overnight lows are generally in the 60's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 50's; throughout the dark hours in the winter at Big Tujunga Reservoir temperatures drop to the 30's. At Big Tujunga Reservoir you don’t see much rain; all through the month of March you get the most rain around       here, and the driest of the months is June. All the outdoors cool things in close proximity to Big Tujunga Reservoir will keep you coming back repeatedly. This lake is located in the wonderful San Gabriel Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. A lake close by is Sunset Reservoir, and if you came for an overnight stay Stoneyvale Campground is a tremendous location to camp. So many cool things in the San Gabriel Mountains, just mind-boggling. Gotta ski!                  Mt Waterman is a good place to do that, and Vogel Flats Campground is a good campground nearby. A pleasant vista of stunning Hoyt Mountain is available from Big Tujunga Reservoir, and Clear Creek is close to Big Tujunga Reservoir and is always a pleasure to stop at. This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of folks from Los Angeles-Long Beach-Santa Ana here, and there is a good hiking trail close by called the Stone Canyon Trail. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable things in the San Gabriel Mountains. On a good day at Big Tujunga Reservoir you can take a hike along the Condor Peak Riding and hiking Trail, and if you need a spot to stay Courtyard By Marriott Old Pasadena is a pleasant choice. Breakneck Canyon is close to Big Tujunga Reservoir and is without doubt a nice site to stop by, and Grizzly Flat is a splendid spot to stretch your legs a bit. Whohoo, so much entertaining stuff in one place! Big Tujunga Reservoir is excellent! Verdugo Hills Golf Course is a pleasant golf course nearby; nearby you stumble on the Gold Canyon Trail which is a perfect hiking trail.
