What a nice lake Big Pine Lakes is. High temperatures at Big Pine Lakes throughout the months of summer are in the 90's; the night is a bit cooler of course, commonly in the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are mostly in the 50's, and overnight lows at Big Pine Lakes during the winter frequently descend into the 20's. Big Pine Lakes is located in the Central Sierra Nevada.
This lake is so wonderful. Near Big Pine Lakes you discover Agassiz Col which is

| | a good place to go to, and the John Muir Trail - Pacific Crest Section is a wonderful hiking trail close by. But wait, there's more entertaining stuff to do in the Central Sierra Nevada. If you're here at Big Pine Lakes, checking out Palisade Glacier is a must, and everybody loves Sam Mack Meadow. A glorious panorama of pretty Mount Agassiz is available from Big Pine Lakes. There's so much to do here at Big Pine Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, | |

First Falls Campground is a wonderful site for that.
This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Super 8 Motel - Bishop is a good choice; you can run the rapids of Kings River - Middle Fork. So much exciting stuff to
do here at Big Pine Lakes, too good to be true. The views at Devils Postpile National Monument will blow your mind, and close by you hit upon the Pacific Crest Trail - section 11 which is a fine hiking trail. If you get bored of Big
Pine Lakes, you could also explore close by Big Pine Lake, and on a good day you can take a hike along the Kings River Trail.
Big Pine Lakes is pretty dehydrated typically; of all the months in a year January is the one with the
most rain, and June meanwhile is the driest month. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Central Sierra Nevada. After a long day outdoors Bishop-Days Inn is a splendid site to spend a night or two. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Big Pine Lakes has to offer, you can camp at Second Falls Campground.
