Big McGee Lake is always a pleasure to visit. This lake is one of the great places here in the Central Sierra Nevada. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors fun things the Central Sierra Nevada has to offer. If you came to camp Upper McGee Creek Campground is a delightful place to do that; Devils Postpile National Monument is one of the destinations that are tremendous to stop at close by. This lake is so wonderful. At Big McGee Lake you can catch

| | a glimpse of Mount Crocker, and while you're here, you could also stop by gorgeous Crocker Lake. Mammoth Lakes Travelodge is a great place to get some rest; nearby you locate the Mammoth Rock Trail which is a glorious hiking trail. For the period of the warmest time of the year highs here at Big McGee Lake reach the 70's while overnight lows are ordinarily in the 40's. Lakes Trail. If only every site had this much outdoors exciting stuff, what a great earth it would be. After a long day outdoors Mammoth Creek Inn is a magnificent place to spend a night or two, and everybody close by loves skiing
at June Mountain. Whitewater paddling is brilliant on Mono Creek, and Hopkins Pass is also a wonderful site to discover. Around Big McGee Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily January,
that's the one that rains the most; the driest month is June. This lake is so wonderful. The skiing at Mammoth Mountain is splendid, and Big McGee Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Lake Crowley Campground is a fine local campground.
