| | at China Slide. This lake is located in the wonderful Coast Ranges.
Take a side tour to Bidden Creek; Big Lake is right next door to Box Canyon which is positively worth taking a look at. If you like the outdoors, you'll have a thing about Big Lake. You're sure to bump into some smiling people from Eureka-Arcata-Fortuna here; get covered with water paddling on Trinity River - South Fork. This lake is so wonderful. River; there is a wonderful hiking trail nearby called the Grouse Creek Tractor Trail.
So many fun things in the Coast Ranges, just astonishing. The Dan East Trail is a great hiking trail next to Big Lake; you can stay the night
at Slide Creek Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Big Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; the month with most of the rain is December while July is usually the driest month.
All through the warm months at Big Lake highs
are ordinarily in the 90's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 50's with temperatures at Big Lake dipping down into the 30's through winter nights.
