    Big Lagoon is a lake worth visiting. All the outdoors amusing things in the Santa Cruz Mountains will keep you coming back over and over. There's whitewater on San Lorenzo River for all you thrill seekers, and there is a magnificent hiking trail close by called the Butano Ridge Loop Trail. Yeah, come up here to the Santa Cruz Mountains for a delightful time. A day at wonderful Pomponio Beach near Big Lagoon is a wonderful thing to do; the Ano Nuevo Trail is a  
   wonderful hiking trail nearby. For the period of the warm months, highs mostly are in the 60's at Big Lagoon while nighttime lows are ordinarily in the 50's. Highs all through the wintertime are typically in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Big Lagoon are in the 40's.
Big Lagoon is one of the lakes here in the Santa Cruz Mountains. All the outdoors enjoyable things close to Big Lagoon will keep you coming back persistently. At Big Lagoon you can
 
               observe Burns Chalks, and going for a hike on the Alambique Trail is always a delightful adventure. Having a glorious time at Big Lagoon is trouble-free.
A glorious close by hotel is Pescadero Creek Inn, and places like The Potato Patch are brilliant to stop by. This lake is so wonderful. Spend the day on the beach at San Gregorio Beach if you're here at Big Lagoon; camping at Big Lagoon is pleasant fun, Costanoa Resort is a pleasant local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Bloomquist Creek flows through this neighborhood, naturally you could also go to Little Lagoon while you're here; it's not far at all.
Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Pescadero Creek; if you need a spot to stay Costanoa is a nice choice. The annual rain here at Big Lagoon is about average; January is the month that gets the most rain, and July is when it's the driest. Why not camp at Butano State Park since you're here at Big Lagoon, and if you're looking for a glorious tour, Juan Bautista De Anza National Historic Trail is rather near.
