near Big Lagoon is Bohemian Grove, and the scenery at Tennessee Valley Dam is beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. Frank Valley is near Big Lagoon and is a great site; Kent Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth
stopping at. From a rainfall point of view Big Lagoon is a rather normal location; the wettest month of the year is usually January, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is July. This lake is so wonderful.
If time allows, Muir Woods National Monument is a national park worth visiting; the beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Kent Falls. A spree to Rodeo Beach near Big Lagoon is always a splendid idea; Big Lagoon is right by
the Ben Johnson Trail. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Big Lagoon has to offer, you can camp at Haypress Campground; dry warm beds await you at Mill Valley Inn. Do schedule some time to explore Pirates Cove close to Big Lagoon if you have a chance, and do take a hike on the West Point Trail.
