It's always fun to stop by Big Duck Lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Klamath Mountains. Big Duck Lake is right by the Tanners Peak Trail; the view of wonderful Eaton Peak is delightful. This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart beating on the delightful whitewater of Coffee Creek; do take a hike on the Garden Gulch Trail.
Big Duck Lake gets a typical amount of yearly rainfall; December is the month that gets the most rain while July is

| | the month with the least amount of precipitation. All year is a good time in the Klamath Mountains if you love the outdoors. So much amusing stuff to do here in the Klamath Mountains, too delightful to be true. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Salmon River; you can stay the night at Trail Creek Campground.

Baymont Inn Yreka is a splendid choice. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Big Duck Lake has to offer, you can camp at Mountain Village RV Park. Summertime at Big Duck Lake comes with high temperatures in the 90's while
overnight lows are commonly in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Big Duck Lake. A pretty lake like Bingham Lake right next door to Big Duck Lake is a tremendous location to stop at, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Deacon Lee Trail.
