Don't leave Big Dalton Reservoir without first paying a visit to Big Cienega Spring, and at Big Dalton Debris Dam right next door to Big Dalton Reservoir there are some out of the ordinary things to see. This lake is so wonderful. Do set aside some time for Sycamore Flat if you're here at Big Dalton Reservoir, and Big Dalton Reservoir is right by the Heaton Flat Trail. From a precipitation point of view Big Dalton Reservoir       is a quite normal location; the month of February is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest of the months is July. You can never get enough of the tremendous skiing at Mt. Baldy, and for you golfers we recommend nearby Marshall Canyon Golf Club. And that's not all you can do here at Big Dalton Reservoir. The view of beautiful Johnstone Peak near Big Dalton Reservoir is magnificent, and magnificent skiing awaits you at Ski Sunrise. And that's                  not all there is to do here in the San Gabriel Mountains. Why not camp at Eldoradoville Campground since you're here at Big Dalton Reservoir, and after a long day outdoors Red Roof Inn San Dimas is a great place to spend a night or two. This lake is located in the wonderful San Gabriel Mountains. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors fun things the area close to Big Dalton Reservoir has to offer. Take a hike on the Bear Creek Trail, and a delightful close by hotel is Rodeway Inn & Suites. So many cool things in the San Gabriel Mountains, just impressive. Nearby Bell Canyon is a splendid site to go if you're at Big Dalton Reservoir, and hiking along the Fern Canyon Trail is perfect fun. At Big Dalton Reservoir all through the days of summer highs are in the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Big Dalton Reservoir are in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful.
