     After a long day outdoors Deer Creek Inn is a perfect site to spend a night or two, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Yuba River - North Fork. What a place this is for outdoors folks. This lake is so wonderful. Big Bear Lake is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Berger Campground is a delightful local campground, and Fern Falls is a wonderful local attraction.

   here at Big Bear Lake; it's close by, and skiing at Royal Gorge is one of those things you just should do. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the vicinity of Big Bear Lake. There's splendid hiking along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 15. There's so much to do here at Big Bear Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Snag Lake Campground is a wonderful spot for that. All through the warm days of summer at Big Bear Lake highs are generally  
               in the 90's. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's, and nighttime lows through the winter for Big Bear Lake tend to be in the 20's.
You clearly have to fancy the Northern Sierra Nevada. If you come at the right time of year, Lavezzola Creek offers some wonderful whitewater, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Big Bear Lake; Deer Lake Trail is a good local trail. The Eureka Lake Trail offers hiking at its best, and a lake close by is Little Bear Lake. These mountains rock, just explore all the entertaining stuff to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Chalet View Lodge is a brilliant spot to get some rest, and Mount Elwell is pretty and can be observed from here.
A typical amount of rainfall falls here at Big Bear Lake; the month with most of the rain is January, and the driest month is July. Enjoy a round of golf at Graeagle Meadows Golf Course not far from Big Bear Lake, and Lakes Basin is right here at Big Bear Lake. Big Bear Lake is located in the Northern Sierra Nevada.
