     Upper McGee Creek Campground is a great campground nearby, and everybody loves Long Valley. This lake is so wonderful. Do explore Convict Lake right next door to Big Alkali Lake, it's a beautiful lake, and going for a hike on the Sherwin Lakes Trail is always a fine adventure. So many exciting things to do in the Central Sierra Nevada, not enough time. Dry warm beds await you at Mammoth Lakes Travelodge, and swing by Hot Creek it's a fine site to visit.
 
   What would winter be without some skiing at June Mountain; a pretty lake like Little Alkali Lake is a tremendous location to take a look at. All through the summertime months here at Big Alkali Lake, high temperatures ordinarily reach the 80's, and the overnight is rather chillier of course, generally in the 30's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's with temperatures at Big Alkali Lake dipping down into the 0's all through winter nights. You definitely  
               should love Big Alkali Lake. Go for a hike on the Mammoth Rock Trail; of course, all our national parks are splendid places to go to and Devils Postpile National Monument is no exception.
This lake is located in the wonderful Central Sierra Nevada. This lake is so wonderful. The slopes of Mammoth Mountain are so inviting nobody can resist. Not much precipitation falls here at Big Alkali Lake; throughout the month of January you get the most snow around here while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
There's no way someone can get bored here in the Central Sierra Nevada. Lake Crowley Campground is a brilliant local campground, and if you need a place to stay Mammoth Creek Inn is a brilliant choice.
