If you like lakes and you're in this part of California you can check out Bidwell Pond. The annual rainfall here at Bidwell Pond is about average; the wettest month of the year is regularly December, that's the one that snows the most while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. If you came to camp Hat Creek Hereford Ranch is a splendid location to do that; paddling on Pit River is so much fun. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors

there's lots more exciting things to do in the Southern Cascade Range. Camping at Honn Campground is always a good experience, and close by you stumble on the Bunchgrass Trail which is a great hiking trail. Through the months of summer
at Bidwell Pond temperatures are commonly in the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 40's. Highs all through the wintertime are regularly in the 40's with temperatures at Bidwell Pond dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights.
