This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is delightful here at Beyers Lakes, you can go for a hike along the Crooked Lakes Trail, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at close by Glacier Lake. That right there is lots of fun stuff already       but it goes on, the Northern Sierra Nevada has it all. You can run the rapids of Fordyce Creek in the neighborhood of Beyers Lakes, and Soda Springs is a great local ski area. So much enjoyable stuff in close proximity to Beyers Lakes, completely incredible. A perfect place for whitewater paddling near Beyers Lakes is Yuba River - South Fork; camping at Indian Springs Campground is always a nice experience. Deer Creek Inn is a great site to get some rest.                  Lakes? Sure, Baltimore Lake is close by; you can have a good hiking adventure along the Glacier Lakes Trail. You'll beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Five Lakes Basin is a nice location, and a glorious spot to camp here at Beyers Lakes is Canyon Creek Campground. This lake is so wonderful. During your journey to Beyers Lakes you'll meet some people from Truckee-Grass Valley for sure, and going for a hike along the Grouse Ridge Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. Beyers Lakes is a beautiful lake in the Northern Sierra Nevada. You get a wonderful panorama of Black Buttes from Beyers Lakes, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Royal Gorge is relatively near. At Beyers Lakes during the summertime months highs are in the 80's while nighttime lows are mostly in the 40's.
