A nice nearby hotel is Best Western Rose Quartz, and Betty Lake is a pleasant site to visit for more than one day, Silver Bowl Campground is a pleasant site to camp nearby. During the summertime highs here at Betty Lake reach the 90's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 40's. Through the winter highs are in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Betty Lake.       All year is a pleasant time in the Southern Cascade Range if you like the outdoors. Swamps like Cooper Swamp right next door to Betty Lake make for wonderful places to take a look at; after a long day outdoors Bailey Creek Cottages is a wonderful place to spend a night or two. Betty Lake is a beautiful lake in the Southern Cascade Range. Lassen Volcanic National Park is a very glorious site to go to near Betty Lake, and Rocky Knoll Campground is a perfect                  local campground. So many cool things to do here at Betty Lake, too perfect to be true. A lake close by is Shotoverin Lake, and the Pacific Crest Trail - section 16 is a splendid hiking trail close by. Betty Lake gets very little precipitation; through the month of January you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is July. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff in the Southern Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful.
