    If you are traveling by, why not stop by Beryl Lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Central Sierra Nevada. Kokanee Campground is a great campground here; Willow Meadow is a pretty place any time of year. Beryl Lake gets a common amount of rain; January is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is July.
So many exciting things in the Central Sierra Nevada, just fantastic. Dry warm beds await you at Juniper Springs
 
   Resort. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Beryl Lake, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Beryl Lake plunge into the 20's. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff in the Central Sierra Nevada. From Beryl Lake you acquire a glorious view of Red Mountain; there's no such thing as a bad day  
               of skiing at close by Sierra Summit.
Dinkey Creek has a pleasant whitewater paddling spot close by, and Beryl Lake is right by the Red Mountain Trail. Be careful coming to Beryl Lake, you might not ever wanna return home again. Stay the night at College Campground, and you can have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Bobs Flat Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Beryl Lake is not the only location close by, Brewer Lake is a close by lake, and hiking along the Deep Creek Trail is great fun.
