Beautiful Berts Lake has much to offer visitors. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Poison Hole Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area; skiing at Alpine Meadows is one of those things you just have to do. And if that's not enough there's heaps more amusing stuff to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada. If you come at the right time of year, American River - South Fork offers some wonderful whitewater. There's so much to do

| | here at Berts Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Wentworth Springs Campground is a tremendous site for that. You'll hit upon a picturesque lake called Gerle Creek Divide Reservoir near Berts Lake, and wonderful skiing awaits you at Homewood.
Plumpjack Squaw Valley Inn is a brilliant place to get some rest. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors enjoyable stuff the area next to Berts Lake has to offer. Chipmunk Bluff is a peak you can observe | |

from Berts Lake, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Loon Lake Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Mineral Springs is a striking place to explore while you're at Berts Lake, and on a good day you can take a hike along
the Sun Rock Trail.
Just can't get enough of the Northern Sierra Nevada. Glide down the rapids of Silver Creek - South Fork in a kayak; if you came to camp Pleasant Boat-In Campground is a tremendous place to do that. This lake
is located in the wonderful Northern Sierra Nevada. Berts Lake is a wet place that gets a great deal of rainfall; most of the rain falls throughout January, and July is when it's the driest.
For the period of the summer months,
highs generally are in the 80's at Berts Lake; during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Berts Lake are in the 20's. A tremendous place
like Poison Hole here at Berts Lake is too brilliant to miss, and if you need a location to stay Squaw Valley Lodge is a perfect choice.
