| | lake is so wonderful. Bergona Lake is right by the Gaylor Lakes Trail, as expected you could also check out Par Value Lakes since you're here; it's not far at all. If you come at the right time of year, Tuolumne River offers some perfect whitewater, and Bergona Lake is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Doc and Al's Robinson Creek Resort is a nice local campground. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining things at Bergona Lake. | |

Glines Canyon is a great location to look at; hiking along the John Muir Trail - section 1 is delightful fun. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Central Sierra Nevada. If the weather is pretty, you obtain
a splendid panorama of Camiaca Peak from Bergona Lake, and if you need a spot to stay Yosemite Gateway Motel is a glorious choice. This lake is so wonderful. A fine nearby hotel is Heidelberg Inn. So much fun stuff in the Central
Sierra Nevada, just incredible. There are some brilliant whitewater spots on Tenaya Creek. There's so much to do here at Bergona Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Paho Campground is a delightful place for that. Bergona
Lake gets very little rain; most of the snow falls throughout January while October is usually the driest month.
