Dry warm beds await you at dnc -- Wawona Hotel, and do set aside some time for Rodgers Meadow if you're here at Benson Lake. A lot of precipitation falls at Benson Lake; the wettest month of the year is frequently January, that's the one that rains the most, and July is the month with the least moisture. Stay the night at Porcupine Flat Campground, and get drenched paddling on Tuolumne River. This lake is so wonderful. A lake       close by is Murdock Lake; hiking is a popular thing to do around Benson Lake; Pacific Crest Trail - section 12 is a delightful local trail. If you want a nice time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Benson Lake. Benson Lake is not the only location nearby, Neall Lake is a nearby lake, and there's fine hiking along the Ten Lakes Trail. This lake is located in the wonderful Central Sierra Nevada.
