    If you are in Napa county it's always a good idea to stop by Bell Canyon Reservoir. Now, you may believe that's a lot but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Bell Canyon Reservoir. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Napa River. A good place to camp here at Bell Canyon Reservoir is Ritchey Creek Campground; if you need a site to stay Ambrose Bierce House is a wonderful choice. This lake is so wonderful. You get  
   a magnificent vista of Glass Mountain from Bell Canyon Reservoir, and if you're a golfer then a fine nearby course is Aetna Springs Golf Course.
This lake is so wonderful. Biter Creek flows through this region, and dry warm beds await you at Calistoga Ranch. If you come at the right time of year, Putah Creek offers some pleasant whitewater, and there are other sites here than Bell Canyon Reservoir, for example Lake Newton.                meet someone from Napa, and Bell Canyon Reservoir is right by the Bald Mountain Trail.
I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a glorious time here at Bell Canyon Reservoir. While you're here at Bell Canyon Reservoir it's a good idea to visit Bell Valley; magnificent water scenery is available at Bell Canyon Dam right next door to Bell Canyon Reservoir. Bell Canyon Reservoir is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Bothe Napa Valley State Park is a perfect local campground; nearby Bell Canyon is a glorious location to go. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 90's to Bell Canyon Reservoir. During the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 50's, and nighttime lows through the wintertime for Bell Canyon Reservoir tend to be in the 20's.
Not far from Bell Canyon Reservoir, you'll stumble on Fawn Lake which is a stunning lake, and Sunset Point is a great site to have a look at while in the region. Bell Canyon Reservoir is a good location of normal precipitation; through the month of January you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is July.
