There's so much to do here at Belden Forebay that you need to camp here for a while, Cool Springs Campground is a great spot for that. This lake is so wonderful. Crablouse Ravine is near Belden Forebay and is a nice place; if you have time, Lassen Volcanic National Park is a national park worth a visit. Throughout the summertime months at Belden Forebay temperatures are generally in the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 40's.                  Throughout the winter highs are in the 40's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Belden Forebay temperatures sink to the 10's.
