It's always fun to stop by Bear Wallows. Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place! The Coast Ranges is unbeatable!. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors fun stuff the area right next door to Bear Wallows has to offer. If you come at the right time of year, Hurdygurdy Creek offers some good whitewater, and Bear Wallows is great enough to spend more than a day at, Shady Bend RV and Mobile Park is a great local campground. Now, you may imagine

| | that's a heap but there's even more cool stuff to do here in the Coast Ranges. Bear Wallows is right by the Clear Creek National Recreation Trail, and camping at Cedar Rustic Campground is always a glorious experience.
For the duration of the warm months highs here at Bear Wallows reach the 60's. Summer night lows sink down to the 50's. Through the wintertime highs are frequently in the 50's while Bear Wallows overnight low temperatures through the wintertime | |

are in the 30's. Bear Wallows gets a lot of water; through the month of December you get the most rain around here; July on the other hand is the driest. Hiking along the Summit Valley Trail is perfect fun, and needless to say, this
is a splendid region for folks who like lakes, Harrington Lake is a lake in close proximity.
This lake is one of the great places here in the Coast Ranges. This lake is so wonderful. One of the principal traits of the surroundings
of Bear Wallows is Baldy Peak, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Trace Creek. Have a great hiking adventure along the Elk Camp Ridge Trail; the sights at Oregon Caves National Monument will blow your mind.
