Man, is there loads of enjoyable stuff to do in the vicinity of Bear Wallows. Bear Wallows is right by the Elk Camp Ridge Trail; why not camp at Cedar Rustic Campground since you're here at Bear Wallows. Hurdygurdy Creek has a delightful whitewater paddling spot close by; do check out Harrington Lake, it's a charming lake. Yeah, come up here to the Coast Ranges for a fine time. Don't miss out on a journey to Oregon Caves National Monument since you're here at Bear

| | Wallows, and there's delightful hiking along the Clear Creek National Recreation Trail. All through the warmest time of the year highs here at Bear Wallows reach the 60's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Bear Wallows. is so wonderful. A magnificent place to camp here at Bear Wallows is Shady Bend RV and Mobile Park, and Lost Spoon Lake is a nearby lake that you could explore. The high level of rainfall makes Bear Wallows a pretty wet place; through the month of December you get the most rain around here; July is when it's the driest.
