     This lake is located in the wonderful Coast Ranges. Trace Creek is a splendid whitewater spot near Bear Wallow, and you'll perhaps meet some folks from Grants Pass here. This lake is so wonderful. Oregon Caves National Monument is a very fine place to go to next to Bear Wallow, and Whisky Lake is a good lake nearby.
This lake is so wonderful. Chicago Creek is a good site to take a look at; you can go for a hike on the Clear Creek National Recreation Trail.
 
   Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. Camping at Lone Mountain RV Resort is always a glorious experience; don't leave Bear Wallow without first going for a hike along the Elk Camp Ridge Trail.
Bear Wallow is a rather wet place generally with much rainfall; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is July. Summertime highs at Bear Wallow commonly tend to be in the 80's, and the night is somewhat colder of course,
 
               regularly in the 40's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 40's; overnight lows through the winter for Bear Wallow tend to be in the 30's. All the outdoors entertaining stuff in the Coast Ranges will keep you coming back over and over. If you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Hurdygurdy Creek; a good panorama of stunning Chicago Peak is available.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Coast Ranges. A stunning lake like Sanger Lake near Bear Wallow is a splendid spot to stop at, and if you came to camp Twin Pines Cafe and RV is a nice location to do that.

Dry Lake is NOT a good place to camp, or fish. Forest Service has failed to keep water weeds and water lilies out which is destroying the fishery. Summer days are HOT, winters cold, lots of bugs in summer. At the present rate of invasive water weeds, this lake will be a marsh bog in a few years....
