Having a glorious time in the Northern Sierra Nevada is easy. Deer Valley is a pleasant site to stretch your legs a bit, and whitewater paddling is fine on American River - South Fork. High temperatures at Bear River Reservoir throughout the summertime are in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and       nighttime lows in the 10's for Bear River Reservoir. Bear River Reservoir is located in the Northern Sierra Nevada. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Bear River Reservoir you can take a hike along the Windmiller Trail, and some of the water nearby flows, like Sugar Pine Creek. Going for a hike along the Emigrant Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and if you came for an overnight stay Salt Springs Campground is a wonderful                  location to camp. This lake is so wonderful. If you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Mokelumne River - North Fork, unsurprisingly you could also pop by Devils Lake while you're here; it's not far at all. Bear River Reservoir sees pretty high levels of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is commonly January, that's the one that snows the most while July is generally the driest month. On a perfect day at Bear River Reservoir you can take a hike along the Hawley Grade Trail; a trip to Bear River Reservoir wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Ham Spring. If you need a spot to stay Pine Cone Acre Motel is a brilliant choice. And that's not all you can do here at Bear River Reservoir.
