This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Elk Creek. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Bear Lake has to offer, you can camp at Sulphur Springs Campground. Near Bear Lake you stumble on the Horse Camp Trail which is a perfect hiking trail, and there are some splendid whitewater spots on Klamath River. This lake is so wonderful. | | proximity to Bear Lake. These mountains rock, just check out all the amusing things to do in the Klamath Mountains. This is a tremendous region for folks who like lakes. Turk Lake is a lake around here, and the Garden Gulch Trail is a delightful hiking trail close by. things to do next to Bear Lake. There's so much to do here at Bear Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Bridge Flat Campground is a fine place for that; there is a wonderful hiking trail nearby called the Boundary National
Recreation Trail. Summertime brings highs in the 90's to Bear Lake while nighttime lows are commonly in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Bear Lake temperatures
plunge to the 30's. Red Rock is a magnificent site to visit while in the area, and Kings Castle is a peak you can catch a sight of from Bear Lake. You simply have to like the Klamath Mountains. Best Western Windsor Inn is a magnificent
location to get some rest, and while you're here why not stop at Bear Valley. Bear Lake is a beautiful lake in the Klamath Mountains.
