     All through the summer months at Bear Lake temperatures are generally in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's typically in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's with temperatures at Bear Lake dipping down into the 30's through winter nights. So many entertaining things to do at Bear Lake, so little time. Bear Lake is a delightful place to visit for more than one day, Dillion Creek Campground is a delightful place to camp nearby, and get  
   yourself into a kayak and hit Klamath River. Bear Lake is located in the Coast Ranges.
If you haven’t been to Oregon Caves National Monument, you must schedule some time for it while you're here; almost certainly you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Dry Lake is just a very short distance away. Bear Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; December is the month that gets the most rain while July is usually the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. At
 
               Bear Lake you can see Bear Peak.
If you want a pleasant time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Coast Ranges. You could also explore Lower Bear Lake if you're here at Bear Lake; it's nearby, and the major feature in the region is the Kelsey Range. Yep, outdoors fun stuff truly is abundant here in the Coast Ranges. On a perfect day at Bear Lake you can take a hike along the Summit Valley Trail, and you could always look at Bear Valley. While you're here at Bear Lake you can take a hike along the Clear Creek National Recreation Trail, and you can stay the night at Pick-aw-Ish Campground.
This lake is so wonderful. Some close by water includes Little Bear Valley Creek, and drift down the rapids of Trace Creek in a kayak.
