What a nice lake Bear Lake is. This lake is one of the great places here in the Coast Ranges. In the event that you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Klamath River; Oregon Caves National Monument is one of the destinations that are great to stop at nearby. You clearly must go for the Coast Ranges. Bear Peak is clearly visible from Bear Lake; getting to Little Bear Valley Creek from Bear Lake is trouble-free. Man, is there

more than one day, Dillion Creek Campground is a good spot to camp nearby. High temperatures at Bear Lake during the summertime are in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 40's. Highs during the wintertime are mostly in the 40's,
and nighttime lows in the 30's for Bear Lake. A lot of rain falls at Bear Lake; the wettest month of the year is typically December, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is July. A pleasant location
for whitewater paddling right next door to Bear Lake is Trace Creek. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Bear Lake has to offer, you can camp at Pick-aw-Ish Campground.
