There are perfect places to look at along the Alambique Trail; Rosewood Sand Hill is a brilliant site to get some rest. Through the warmest time of the year at Bear Gulch Reservoir highs are mostly in the 60's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter the highs are usually in the 50's with winter lows in the 40's overnight here at Bear Gulch Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. | | could also take a look at close by Upper Emerald Lake; a tour to Juan Bautista De Anza National Historic Trail is worthwhile. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is delightful on Pescadero Creek, and you'll meet a lot of folks from San Francisco-Oakland-Fremont here.
