    A visit to Bear Gulch Reservoir is always a good idea. King City Days Inn is a brilliant location to get some rest, and good hiking is available along the High Peaks Trail. If you need a location to stay Valley Harvest Inn is a great choice, and do check out Bear Gulch Dam while you're here. High temperatures at Bear Gulch Reservoir all through the warm days of summer are in the 90's with night lows in the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally  
   in the 60's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Bear Gulch Reservoir plunge into the 30's.
If you want to explore some interesting stuff, explore Little Pinnacles, and you can go for a hike on the Chalone Peak Trail. There's nice hiking along the Tunnel Trail. A tour to Moses Spring will fill your soul with brilliant feelings; Bear Gulch Reservoir is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Chalone Annex Campground is
 
               a magnificent local campground.
This lake is so wonderful. Near Bear Gulch Reservoir you hit upon glorious sites like Bear Gulch, and if you're here, you could go to North Fork Chalone Creek. Now, you may think that's lots but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here at Bear Gulch Reservoir. The top of Mount Defiance is easily observed from Bear Gulch Reservoir; a nice site to camp here at Bear Gulch Reservoir is Chalone Creek Campground. At Bear Gulch Reservoir you don’t see much rainfall; through January this area sees the most rain while July is ordinarily the driest month.
This lake is so wonderful. Visiting Pinnacles National Monument is just something you need to do if you haven't yet, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Arroyo Seco River.
